1. Scope and acceptance
1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the websites, landing pages and digital content of the ORBCOM Group brands (hereinafter the “Website”).
1.2. By accessing, browsing or using the Website, the user declares that they have read, understood and accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use the Website.

3. Purpose of the Website
3.1. The Website is for informational and institutional purposes, allowing users to learn about services, products, content, news, events/webinars and contact options, as well as submit support requests and job applications.
3.2. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the information presented does not constitute a binding contractual offer. Any supply of products/services depends on a proposal, validation and/or a written contract.
4. Rules of use
4.1. The user undertakes to:
- Use the Website lawfully, responsibly and in good faith;
- Not interfere with the operation of the Website (including unauthorised intrusion testing, attempts to bypass security measures, abusive scraping, malware distribution, etc.);
- Not use the Website for illegal, defamatory, offensive or discriminatory purposes, or in any way that infringes third-party rights.
4.2. Orbcom may restrict or block access where it detects misuse, without prejudice to other legal remedies.
5. Intellectual property and content
5.1. All content on the Website (texts, images, trademarks, logos, graphics, videos, templates, documentation, design and code) is owned by ORBCOM or by third parties who have authorised its use, and is protected by copyright and industrial property rights.
5.2. The reproduction, distribution, modification, transmission or any use of the content for commercial purposes is prohibited without ORBCOM’s prior written authorisation, except where legally permitted.
5.3. The trademarks and logos displayed on the Website may not be used without authorisation.
6. Information provided and limitations
6.1. ORBCOM makes reasonable efforts to keep the information up to date and accurate, but does not guarantee that the Website is free from errors, interruptions or technical failures.
6.2. The Website is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ORBCOM shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use (or inability to use) the Website, including indirect losses (e.g. loss of profits), arising from viruses, technical failures, unavailability, or decisions made based on the information published.
6.3. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Links para terceiros
7.1. O Website pode conter ligações para websites de terceiros. A ORBCOM não controla nem se responsabiliza pelos conteúdos, políticas ou práticas desses websites.
8. Forms (contact, support, events/webinars, job applications)
8.1. By submitting a form, the user warrants that the data provided is true and that they are entitled to provide it.
8.2. Contact: the data will be used to respond to the request and for related communications.
8.3. Support: the request will be handled for triage and resolution purposes. Support provision and service levels may depend on an applicable contract/SLA.
8.4. Events/Webinars:
- Registration may involve the sending of operational communications (confirmations, reminders, access details, materials).
- Orbcom may change dates, content, speakers or cancel the event for operational reasons; where possible, it will inform registered participants.
- Some events/webinars may be recorded and made available (e.g. to registered participants). For further details on personal data, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
8.5. Job applications:
- The data submitted will be used to manage the recruitment process.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee employment nor create any contractual relationship.
- Candidates should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information (e.g. health data), unless strictly applicable and legally required.
9. Communications
9.1. Orbcom may contact the user in relation to submitted requests.
9.2. Marketing communications (where applicable) will follow the rules set out in the Privacy Policy, including opt-out/withdrawal of consent options.
10. Data protection and cookies
10.1. The processing of personal data is governed by the ORBCOM Group Privacy Policy.
10.2. The use of cookies and consent preferences is governed by the Cookies Policy.
11. Changes to the Terms
11.1. ORBCOM may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force will be published on the Website with the relevant update date.
12. Applicable law and jurisdiction
12.1. These Terms are governed by Portuguese law.
12.2. In the absence of an agreement, the courts of the district of Porto shall have jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other, without prejudice to any mandatory applicable rules.
